Regions are related to regions and sub-regions which can be linked to a Location or of which an accommodation type recognizes the applicable region(s) its in based on geocodes.
For example, a region could be the province Gelderland and sub-region could be De Veluwe. A region could be Beach Netherlands and sub-region could be Beach Zeeland.

How to create a Region

  1. Open the Content Manager
  2. Expand the Configuration menu
  3. Click on "Region"
  4. Click on "Add region"
  5. Add details like "Name", "Code" and "Parent region" (in case region falls in another parent region) and click on "Create"
  6. Region map: Click on "New shape" to edit the region
  7. Click on "Save" to save the newly created region

For example, a region could be the province Gelderland and sub-region could be De Veluwe. A region could be Beach Netherlands and sub-region could be Beach Zeeland.

Where can I use these regions?

  • These regions can be used to mark where your accommodation types or locations are situated. 
  • When adding an address to accommodation type or location, you can specify the latitude/longitude.
  • Based on the latitude/longitude, these accommodation types or locations can be identified as within a specific region.
