The Reservation Request Dashboard also called the Reseller Reservation Dashboard, is an important tool created to monitor reseller reservations. This dashboard helps us easily track incoming reservations from different resellers, including well-known platforms like Airbnb, Interhome, Booking.com, and Expedia.

Here all the Active Resellers opted by the client would be visible
After selecting the desired Reseller on the right side you would see a Tile: “Reservations created“ ⬇️ which is basically showing count of reservation requests that came into Maxxton software from that specific Reseller in the last 24hrs

Once the user knows what information is displaying on the Dashboard, it is quite easy for the user to make use of the dashboard to view such failed records and take appropriate action against them.
The best way to view and handle a ‘Failed’ reservation request is mentioned below
In ‘Advanced filter’ select Import status as ‘Fail’ Or search by a specific ‘Booking reference number’ (if you have it). This will make the failed reservation requests visible (Example: 92814230842)
No click on the Record, and a pop-up will populate on the screen called ‘Reservation details’ which will have three tabs in it:
Failure Details: As seen in below screenshot, user can see all the required details related to the reservation request that failed to create in Maxxton. It will have information like Stay dates with Guest details, Location and accommodation details and will also reflect “Possible reason for import failure“ which will determine few possible reasons due to which the reservation request had might have failed to process successfully in Maxxton software (Refer screenshot)
Reservation Request: This tab is only visible to Maxxton employees and would have the full Reservation XML request which can be used by Maxxton for more technical debugging (if required)
Technical detail: Even this tab is visible to only Maxxton Employees and would have a information on more technical details on why the reservation request failed to process

Now that the user has viewed the reservation detail and verified the possible reason for failure, they usually have two solutions, either to accommodate the guest in a different room (upgrade maybe) and inform the guest about it OR they can inform the guest that the booking is not confirmed/possible due to unavailability of accommodation.
In either of the cases, once the user decides takes appropriate action, he/she can mark this reservation request as verified manually by turning ON the toggle button ⬇️ . This step of turning ON the toggle button would indicate that the user has verified the failure and acknowledged it by manually handling the requestFurther, the user can click on the ‘Remark’ icon which is just next to the toggle button, and drop specify message/remark about the action he has taken Or want others to take related to that reservation.
In the below screenshot, two remarks are visible, one is a custom remark added by user Sharlee stating how she handled this failed reservation request by upgrading the reservation and advising the property, and another remark ‘Verified Manually' is auto-generated remark which generated when the user Sharlee marked the reservation request as 'verified’ manually by turning ON the toggle button.Users can add more remarks to this chat by clicking on the “Add remark” button located in the bottom right corner of the drawer.
From this dashboard, the user can even navigate to the reservation(s) if it is created in Maxxton. Users just need to click on the arrow ↗️ button located in the extreme right corner of individual requests and they will be navigated to that reservation.
and if the user clicks on the navigation arrow for a reservation that does not exist in Maxxton software, they will get a notification popup stating ‘No reservation available’ ⬇️
