The configuration menu enables the user to create standard settings for creating and searching reservations.

  1. Click on Configuration (sidebar menu)
  2. Click on General
  3. Reservation configuration set will appear
  4. Click on Reservations
  5. This configuration set determines:
    • if a new reservation starts with searching for an accommodation type or customer
    • which information on accommodation type level is visible 
    • which search criteria are visible and in which order.
  6. To (de)activate accommodation type information: click on the toggle (blue is activated, white is deactivated)
  7. To (de)activate search criteria widgets: click on closed or opened
  8. To change the order of the search criteria widgets: drag and drop the widgets
  9. In MXTS Reservations amenities can be used as a filter to narrow down the search result quickly. Amenities are shown in MXTS Reservations based on amenity categories, which can be activated as a search widget in Reservations configuration module.  When the desired shortlist of amenities is spread over multiple categories (for instance kitchen, outdoor, wellness etc), the user has the possibility to:
    1. Activate all respective categories as search widget in MXTS Reservations
      OR
    2. Create a new category specifically for MXTS Reservations Search, to which the amenities of the desired MXTS Reservations shortlist are linked. 
      • FAQ:
        • Yes, an amenity can be linked to a second category
        • Yes, it is possible to make sure this amenity category is not re-used anywhere else (like the website) by marking it 'for internal use only'.
