Definition

Accommodation

Within this header you will find 8 attributes to provide information about the accommodation on different levels of detail. This is based on the tree-structure in Maxxton Software

Accommodation

It represents actual accommodation or accommodation type.
Attribute form ID is prefixed by “A-“ for accommodation and “AT-“ in case of Accommodation type.
Accommodation-types are required for analysis of bookings at Accommodation-type.

Accommodation KindThis indicates what kind of accommodation it is. For example a villa, camping place, beach lodge or a chalet. 
Accommodation Level 1

It shows level of Accommodation type in hierarchy configured in Maxxton Software under Location.
Level 1 is the highest level while level 5 is the lowest level in hierarchy.

If less than 5 levels are configured in Maxxton Software, then for the remaining levels value from lowest level will be repeated.

e.g. If  there are only 2 levels of accommodationtypes are configured in Maxxton Software, then values in 2nd level will be repeated for level 3,4 & 5.

Accommodation Type

This indicates what type of accommodation it is. For example, "Accommodation", "Implied Accommodation" or "Accommodation Type"

Accommodation : it represents actual accommodation having Exclude availibility in BI is not checked.
Implied Accommodation : it represents actual accommodation having Exclude availibility in BI is checked.
Accommodation Type : it represents accommodation-type.

Accommodation Group

Accommodation Group Level 1





Accommodation Groups are defined in the Maxxton Software. For example 'Family Homes' or 'Appartment'. 5 levels are defined, in which level 1 is the least detailed and level 5 is the most detailed.

Accommodation Status

Accommodation Status

This attribute shows current status of an accommodation on particular calendar date.

Attribute Elements:
Locked temporary, Locked phasing, Archived, Occupied, Free, Implied

Availability Status

This attribute shows current availability status of an accommodation on particular calendar date.

Attribute Elements: Available, Not available.
Availability status us “Available” when it’s Accommodation Status is Free, Locked temporary or Occupied
Availability status us “Not Available” when it’s Accommodation Status is Implied, Locked phasing, Archived

Release Status

This attribute shows current release status of an accommodation on particular calendar date.

Attribute Elements:
Open for testing, Open for owners, Open for all, Closed

Calendar Date

Calendar Date

A calendar date is a reference to a particular day represented within a calendar system.

Calendar Date Day of WeekName of Calendar day e.g. Sunday, Monday etc.
Calendar Date ISO Week

The ISO week in which this date is classified e.g. any number from 1 to 53

Calendar Date ISO YearThe ISO year in which this date is classified e.g. 2019, 2020
Calendar Date MonthName of Calendar month e.g. January, February etc.
Calendar Date QuarterQuarter of Calendar year e.t. Q1, Q2 etc.
Calendar Date YearCalendar year e.g. 2019, 2020 etc.

Contract

ContractIt represents valid contract between owner and resort on particular calendar date and accommodation.
Contract Owner

It represents Contract type corresponding to valid contract.

Contract TypeIt represents owner corresponding to valid contract.

It represents country of location

It represents Location hierarchy configured in Maxxton software.

Comparable Date: It is a date in the previous year having the same ISO week and the same day of week as of today's date.

Accommodation Turnover

Net turnover of the booked accommodation, meaning the gross price of the booked accommodation minus specials and included reservedresources.

ADR

Average Daily Rate is calculated from two other metrics: Accommodation Turnover / Occupied, i.e. the average price per night paid by customers for the accommodations that are actually occupied.

Available

Number of available accommodations per day including occupied accommodations. This takes into account if there is rentabiilty configured. 
If client use reservations at Accommodation Type level then it is always 0 at the level of grain (i.e. accommodation aka unit).

Occupancy

Occupancy is calculated from two other metrics: Occupied / Available.

If client use only Accommodation level reservations, then in that case following examples shows Available, Occupied and Occupancy on any particular calendar date

Number of occupied units per day.
At the level of grain, Occupied is 1, if Reservation is made on Accommodation/Accommodation Type and status is Provisional, Definitive, Checked-In or Checked-out.
Note that it does not include Cancelled reservation, to analyze them we have Reservation & Reservedresource cubes.

Preference bookingsNumber of occupied units that have been booked by a preference. Possible to calculate the preference booking percentage by: Preference bookings / Occupied

RevPAR

Revenue Per Available Room is calculated from two other metrics: Revenue / Available, i.e. the average price per night paid by customers for all the available accommodations.
Turnover BudgetTurnover budget per object per calendar date

Unit Days

The number of total units per day, it includes available, final locked and archived units.
At the level of grain, It is always 1 for accommodation and  0 for accommodation Type on a particular calendar date.

LY Last Week Turnover

It measures the revenue generated during the most recent ISO week of the previous year. This metric helps businesses compare their current ISO week's revenue to the same ISO week in the previous year.

LY Current Week Turnover

It measures the revenue generated during the current ISO week of the previous year. This metric helps businesses compare their revenue performance in the current ISO week of the current year to the same week of the previous year.
Next Week Comparable TurnoverIt measures the revenue is expected to generate during the upcoming ISO week, compared to the same ISO week in the previous year.
Last Week Comparable TurnoverIt measures the revenue generated during the most recent ISO week, compared to the same ISO week in the previous year.
CY Yesterdays TurnoverIt measures the revenue generated during the most recent day of the current year. This metric helps businesses track their daily revenue performance and gain insights into their overall revenue generation.
LY Current Week TurnoverIt measures the revenue generated during the current ISO week of the previous year. This metric helps businesses compare their revenue performance in the current ISO week of the current year to the same week of the previous year.
LY Todays Comparable TurnoverIt measures the revenue generated on the same day of the year as today, but in the previous year. This metric helps businesses compare their revenue performance on a specific day in the current year to the same day in the previous year.
LY Yesterdays Comparable TurnoverIt measures the revenue on the same day of the year as yesterday, but in the previous year. This metric helps businesses compare their revenue performance on a specific day in the current year to the same day in the previous year.
Todays Comparable TurnoverIt measures the revenue generated on the same day of the week as today, but in the previous week. This metric helps businesses compare their revenue performance on a specific day in the current week to the same day in the previous week.
Tomorrows Comparable TurnoverIt measures the revenue generated on the same day of the week as tomorrow, but in the previous week. This metric helps businesses compare their revenue performance on a specific day in the current week to the same day in the previous week.
Yesterdays Comparable TurnoverIt measures the revenue generated by a company on the same day of the week as yesterday, but in the previous week. This metric helps businesses compare their revenue performance on a specific day in the current week to the same day in the previous week.
LY Last Week TurnoverIt measures the revenue generated during the most recent ISO week of the previous year. This metric helps businesses compare their current ISO week's revenue to the same ISO week in the previous year.
