Receiving payments

In this section it is described how received payments are or can be processed in MXT system. The following methods can be distinguished: 

Online payment methods (no user involvement required) 

• This relates to payments which are paid by guests via a Payment Service Provider, usually credit cards or specific payment methods per country (Ideal, Bancontact etc.)

Offline payment methods (user involvement required)

• This relates to payment which are processed outside an online Payment Service Provider, like bank transfers and cheques. 
• Due to extensive overhead related to these payment methods, it is advised to direct guests as much as possible to pay via online payment methods.
