Used Business scenario: Pre-arrival information needs to be sent to customers 14 days before arrival and it needs to be executed daily at 9:00 AM.
How to create a periodical task
- Enter a name
- Choose the context → reservation
- Choose the type of trigger → periodic
- Optional to enter a description
How to create an action
- Enter a name
- Choose a type of receiver → customer
- Select email report you want to send → For example, "Pre-arrival information"
How to create conditions
- Choose if the execution should take place hourly, daily, weekly or monthly
- In this example, the notification manager will check daily if there are reservations with an arrival date 14 days from today

- parameter: Arrival date
- Operator: Equals
- Value: Current date (meaning today)
- Plus or Minus: Plus 14 days
How to calculate the impact of a periodical task
- Click on the "calculate impact" button to test if the shown number of impacted reservations matches the expected and realistic number of reservations impacted by the task.
