Rate types

Rate types are created to distinguish different prices for the same accommodation and periods. Direct channel may have other prices than Resellers or Touroperators. Another possibility is to have different type of rates. For example a rate including Breakfast or other addition items.

A rate type can be created in Maxxton Software, in the Rate manager.

When creating a new rate type, the following configuration needs to be done:

• Rate options
• Currency ( in case of Multicurrency)
• Link to the distribution channels using this rate type
• Link to the accommodation type applicable for this rate type
