Automatic copying of mandatory customer information for all travelling persons

Introduction

To make the reservation process more efficient, the system now automatically copies key customer details to all travel party members staying for the full reservation period. This enhancement reduces repetitive data entry, minimizes errors, and ensures that essential information is readily available.

Conceptual flow

Steps to execute the copying of mandatory customer information for all travel party members:

  1. Create a new reservation.

  2. Enter the customer details.

Initial setup

Prerequisites

The feature flag Copy important customer details to travel party members must be enabled.

Access

New reservation is created in the Reservation Manager. Also, the functionality validation is performed in the same module.

Configuration

Copy mandatory customer information to travel party members

  1. In the Reservation Manager, create new reservation.

  2. In the Customer details tab, enter the customer information in the corresponding fields on Customer tab.

The copy process also works for existing reservations when adding a new travel party member or updating an existing one.

Verification

In the Travel party tab the system copies the following fields from the main customer to all traveling persons staying for the full reservation period:

  1. Last name

  2. Zip code

  3. Address details

  4. City

  5. Country

  6. Phone number(s)

  7. Email address
