Templates are used to ease the configuration efforts by increasing the reusability. Templates are the combination of group of widgets that supposed to be used at various pages in a specific order.
How to Configure Templates
Creation of templates
There are two ways to create template-
Method I
Templates >> Create template >> Define all the mandatory fields >> Click Create.
To create the template hierarchy >> drag and drop all the required widgets.
You can verify the created hierarchy from the preview.
Method II
You can create from the page hierarchy by clicking on create template icon “(+)”.
Also, from the template hierarchy you can create another template by clicking on create template icon.
Configure on the page
There are two ways to use the created template on the page-
Drag and drop the template widget on the page.
Drag and drop the template widget on the page >> click on edit >> enable the option “lay hierarchy” >> now you can make changes in the hierarchy of template without affecting the original template or the page where it is used because after laying the hierarchy it will no longer be a template.
