Your Maxxton Software experience is improving as we work to squash bugs and release new features. Here's an account of the improvements you'll find in the latest releases.

Channel Manager

What's Improved

  • Certain Improvements have been done in different parts of Channel Manager

    • In 'Distribution Channels' we only had option to create Memos, now we have made it possible to even edit & remove those Memos.
    • In 'Reseller Configuration' we have feature called "Property content create/update" which as a default use to remain turned-off for a newly linked Acco-type or unit. Because maximum of our client uses this feature, we have now made changes to keep this feature turned "ON" (as a default) whenever any new Acco-type/unit is linked.
    • We had a "Coming soon" tag for the Supplier 'Phobs', but now that we have made the supplier LIVE, we have removed the tag "Coming soon"

Content Manager

What's Improved

  • More filters added for the Location batch update

    Now you can use additional filters Amenities, Subjects, and Contact information when performing Location batch updates to filter the locations that you are looking to update in bulk. You can also save your filter criteria to reuse them at a later stage.

  • Linking dynamic data to Activities

    You can now link dynamic content to the activities which can be displayed on the websites online. The linking of dynamic content can be done using the Dynamic fields that are now provided within the Activities per location.

  • Linking icons to Amenity categories

    You can now link icons (from your own Media or using an icon library) at the Amenity category level. This can be used on the website where you are displaying the icons linked to Amenity categories

  • Inheriting linked Utility meter configuration

    If you are going to use the same Utility energy meter and Utility add-ons for all accommodation types under a specific parent accommodation type, then you can configure them at the parent accommodation type and it will be inherited for all the child accommodation types to ease your configuration efforts. If you wish to use a different meter for an accommodation type, then you can override it for the specific accommodation type.


Finance Manager

What's New

  • Delete for Cost centers, journals, journal periods

    Delete option has been implemented for Cost centers, journals, journal periods with validations.

What's Fixed

  • Critical error on Journal period list page

    Fixed error on journal periods list page when no journal periods are added.


Operations Manager

What's New

  • Select a date in inspection

    Now, if the user chooses specific date in the inspection action item follow-up, a date should be selected.

What's Improved

  • Possibility to see and open added pictures wit read-only rights

    A user wth read-only permissions is now able to see and open pictures in housekeeping tasks and work orders

  • Access when guest is not there became mandatory

    From this release onwards, the user will need to make a yes or no choice, during the work order creation, when sharing input on whether a guest allows employees in the accommodation when the guests are not there.


Owner Manager

What's Fixed

  • Auto Settlement Issue while Pool Distribution

    Issue during auto settlement is fixed and the process is no longer getting stuck.


Reservation Manager

What's New

  • New! Reservation batch update

    We have added a new feature to the reservation manager allowing the user to update reservations in bulk. We have implemented the first option > modify reservation status. In the next months we will add more reservation change options. Click here for a short explanation and needed permission.

What's Fixed

  • Fixed several bugs related to add-ons and offers

    We have fixed several issues in the reservation manager related to add/edit add-ons and offers.
