Collections

Collections are at the heart of Revenue Management. A collection is a bundling of types of accommodations. There are three main reasons for doing this:

  • Avoid micromanagement

  • Interchangeability of resources

  • More data leads to more reliable forecasts

Create new collection(s)

There are two ways to create new collection(s). First, creating collection one by one. And second, generating collections by our clustering algorithm.

Create collection

  1. Click Create collection, at the bottom of the column where collections are displayed (only if collections have been configured).
