In Newyse locks are used to block available accommodations for rent. There can be several reasons to do so, e.g. when there is a (technical) failure, when the object is new and has to be checked or when an owner stops the contract. In Newyse the user can define lock reasons. In the lock reason it is defined which type of lock it is:
- Phasing
- Temporary
- Final
Locks of the type Final won’t be taken into account in the availability shown through some reporting tools like Power Play. And an accommodation can only be archived when the lock is of the type Final.
Locks of the type Phasing are used for phasing of campsites, to regulate occupancy related to maintenance and growth of the grass.
Locks of the type Temporary are used for all other lock reasons.
Most important difference of the lock types is the color of the lock on the planning chart. This way users directly know what kind of lock they are looking at.
Locks always are added at object level and do have a from and to date.
Add reason:
- When setting up lock reasons, it can be configured if a detailed reason when adding a lock is optional, mandatory or not applicable.
Lock on behalf of owner:
- The Lock will have a different (pink) colour on the planning chart, so it is clear for the user this lock is in place due to an owner stay.
