Lock reasons

What is 'Lock reason'?

In Maxxton Software,  locks are used to block available units for rent. There can be several reasons to do so, e.g. when there is a (technical) failure, when the unit is new and has to be checked or when an owner stops the contract. In Maxxton Software, you can define lock reasons. In the lock reason, you can defined which type of lock it is:

  • Phasing - This is used for phasing of campsites, to regulate occupancy related to maintenance and growth of the grass
  • Temporary - This is used for all other lock reasons like maintenance, painting etc.
  • Final - It will not be taken into account in the availability shown through some reporting tools like Power Play. And an accommodation can only be archived when the lock is of the type Final

Locks always are added at unit level and do have a from and to date.

How to configure?

  • You can login in Maxxton Software and navigate to Content Manager
  • Then in the left menu bar, go to Categories > Lock reasons
  • You can configure a new reason by providing a 'Name', 'Description' and 'Lock type'.
  • You can also choose to specify if the users need to "Include detailed reason while adding locks"
