Your Maxxton Software experience is improving as we work to squash bugs and release new features. Here's an account of the improvements you'll find in the latest releases.

This release is now available on acceptance at 6 February and will (probably) be released to production on 12 February or on 18 February in case of unforeseen test results.

Customer Care

What's New

  • WhatsApp integration in Customer Care

    Introduced WhatsApp integration in Customer Care, this allows instant and more personal connection with the customers. WhatsApp conversations are integrated into the unified inbox. This means all customer interactions, whether via email or WhatsApp, can be managed in one place.

  • More flexibility in setting customer statuses

    Previously, customer status could only be determined based on the number of reservations. It is now possible to set customer statuses using new criteria, such as

    • The customer's current status
    • Ignoring reservations altogether
    • The number of departed reservations
    • The total number of nights stayed Additionally, the option to include or exclude distribution channels for the departed reservations and nights stayed is available.
  • Introducing Maxxton Intelligence

    Maxxton Intelligence is introduced as a new assistant in Customer Care. This is designed to help Customer Care agents by intelligently rephrasing their replies for improved clarity, tone, and effectiveness using AI. As a result, agents can respond faster, more efficiently, and in a standardised and professional manner.

What's Fixed

  • Formatting issues in emails from Booking.com

    Resolved the issue which was causing formatting issues in the emails received from Booking.com. Now the emails are displayed correctly.


Content Manager

What's Improved

  • Warning message while archiving the add-on with linked housekeeping tasks

    A warning message is displayed when archiving the add-ons having housekeeping tasks linked to them. This message shows the number of linked housekeeping tasks to the add-on, which would be archived, allowing the user to view and navigate to each one. This does not block archiving, instead, all linked housekeeping tasks are automatically unlinked from the add-on being archived.

  • Improvements for preference cost and amenity linking

    For the add-ons of type 'Preference cost', an amenity column is added to show all amenities where the add-on is linked as a preference cost. Now, the preference type column also highlights when an add-on is linked to an amenity as a preference. Multiple amenities appear in the 'Show More' list, and clicking one opens it in a new tab. Additionally, the new amenity filter in the search bar ensures precise and efficient results.

  • Improvements for validation of capacity on accommodation types and units

    To ensure accurate capacity configuration at the accommodation and unit level, a validation is added to prevent adding only pets or children as capacity. This approach eliminates configuration errors and ensures that the reservations are created with at least one adult in the reservation.


Finance Manager

What's Improved

  • Improvements in statements and unassigned payments

    It is now possible to create a manual statement for bank, cash, and miscellaneous account types, the filter of restricted account types has been removed. The ledger and payer of the reservation can be updated in a mutation via the transaction details page. This enhancement not only improves UI visibility but also simplifies the decision-making process for users managing payments, allowing for a more efficient and enjoyable experience.

What's Fixed

  • Filters applied incorrectly to the wrong window in revenue distribution

    Resolved the issue where the filters applied in the manual revenue distribution page were also applied to the scheduler page. Now, the selected filters are applied to the same page.


Owner Manager

What's Fixed

  • Owner invoice edit issue

    Resolved the issue where an error was displayed when the user tried to edit the amount field in the owner invoice. Now, the user can edit the owner invoice amount field without any error.
