NOTE: the following is only applicable when the offer needs to be offered on the website or through the API and connections.

Configuration

  • Configure only nightly rates or consumption rates. Always give preference to configuring nightly rates over consumption rates.

  • If the amount should be different based on the length of stay, nightly rates should be configured in combination with the “length of stay”.

Limitations

None, just a different configuration is needed to achieve the same result.

Percentage offer

Configuration

  • Configure only nightly rates or consumption rates. Always give preference to configuring nightly rates over consumption rates.

  • If the percentage should be different based on the length of stay, nightly rates should be configured in combination with the “length of stay”.

Limitations

None, just a different configuration is needed to achieve the same result.

Example

New price offer

Configuration

  • Any type of rate can be used (nightly, LOS, consumption)

  • The “Only applicable to the complete duration of the stay” toggle should always be enabled

Limitations

  • “New price” offers valid for a part of the stay are not supported (it will be investigated if it is possible to support this in the future).

Example

The effect of enabling the toggle would be that for a stay from 10 July till 17 July, the offer won’t be applied at all anymore (currently, it will be for the period 10 July till 15 July), since the offer needs to be valid for the complete stay.
