Pool | The poolsettlement is distributed over all participants based on the number of days in the period that the accommodation was available for rental as configured per the ownership/contact.
Calculation:
For the individual accommodation a share of the pool settlement will be calculated by taking the single accommodation # participation days / total # participation days. | Reduce # participation days in pool distribution for an accommodation by excluding reservations made via certain reservationcategories Reduce # participation days in pool distribution for an accommodation by marking a lock as “lock made on behalf of owner”
| | No incentive to invest in the individual accommodation as any surplus in turnover compared to the mean will flow to all other owners of the collective In case it is allowed for owners to make reservations by their own outside the pool, this sometimes results in high-season reservations to be made by some owners individually, while in low-season they will be joining the collective to benefit from the rental of other accommodations

Pool consumption | The poolsettlement is distributed over all participants based on the actual occupied number of nights in the accommodations of the reservations that are settled with the pool.
Calculation:
For each accommodation the actual # of occupancy nights for the given period is taken. The share is calculated by dividing this value over the total # occupancy nights of all the accommodations that are present in a reservation of the pool settlement. | | | Disadvantages or the normal pool settlement also apply. This pool consumption method is not in use with any other client, needs to be tested.
