Your Maxxton Software experience is improving as we work to squash bugs and release new features. Here's an account of the improvements you'll find in the latest releases.

Content Manager

What's Improved

  • History for add-ons rate

    We have improved the history of the add-ons rate. With this improvement, you can now see the exact changes done in the add-on rates. History will now also capture linked add-ons to the rate along with the name of the add-ons and add-on id to help ensure you track every change in history.

  • Overide Utility consumption configuration at the unit level

    Do you wish to add a unique utility configuration per unit? Now you can override the utility consumption configuration on the unit level if you wish you change the existing configuration on the main accommodation type level.

  • Posibility to remove the activity section

    Configured a section by mistake or do not wish to use it anymore for the activity? Now you can remove the activity section if it is not booked in any reservation. In case the section is booked in future or has a scheduled moment linked to it, then the system does not allow the removal of sections in such cases.

  • Standardise date and time format

    In order to standardise date and time format throughout the software so that you can easily understand and interpret the displayed times. We have reviewed and analysed the existing time format in each section and updated the time displayed in all relevant areas in Content Manager.

  • Activities in the cancellation add-ons

    Want to apply a cancellation rule to your activities? This configuration is now possible within the cancellation add-on set-up for you to select the activity type or actual activities as well just like when selecting add-ons or add-on types for the cancellation add-ons.

  • View the history of activities

    With this update, you can now access a comprehensive event history for activities. This functionality empowers you with valuable insights.


Front Office Manager

What's Improved

  • Improve the way we currently handle the amenity preference for reservations booked via planning chart

    The flow for creating reservations with amenity preference via the planning chart is improved. Based on the filtered preferred amenities the preference cost for the selected amenity will automatically be added and the selected preference will be enabled in the reservation.

  • Improve the way we currently handle the unit preference for reservations booked via planning chart

    The flow for creating reservations with unit preference via the planning chart is improved. We have added the same flow for the planning chart to the current setting in the Reservation Manager configuration set, from now on the unit preference will be added automatically when the user creates a reservation via the planning chart for one of the selected reservation categories.

  • Remember the selected location on all menus in the Front Office Manager

    For users that have multiple locations linked to their employee account we now remember the selected location. When the user selects or changes the current selected location in for example the Front Office Manager dashboard, it will be remembered and displayed by default on all other menus in the Front Office Manager.

  • Improve on updating energy values

    The function to update the energy values to calculate the used energy has been improved. The user no longer has to do this per energy meter, but can simply enter the values of all energy meters and then calculate and save them in one action. This improvement will also make it a lot faster as we now update multiple values in one action, instead of doing this per row, per energy meter.

What's Fixed

  • Guests birthday not displayed on the dashboard

    The birthday details of guests who celebrate their birthday during their stay are now displayed again on the dashboard of the Front Office Manager.


Notification Manager

What's Improved

  • New parameters to search for specific resources

    In the conditions of the task you will find 4 new parameters: Offer, Accommodation type, Add-on and Type of add-on. These new parameters will help the user to easily find specific resources.


Operations Manager

What's New

  • Create the inspection from the inspection dashboard

    Till now creation of an inspection was only possible from the operations app, Now users can create the inspection from the inspection dashboard, set the start date in advance and assign the resolver and the actual inspection can be done from the operations app.

  • History of inspection in the drawer

    Now onwards, users can view the history of the inspection in the individual inspection drawer.

What's Improved

  • Export existing units and import along with new units

    Till now exporting and importing of units in the sector was possible, if no units were linked, Now onwards it will be possible to link new units with different sequence numbers along with existing linked units in the sector configuration using this feature.

  • Show original execution moment when tasks are rescheduled

    From now onwards, when planned tasks are rescheduled to another date manually and if there is another planning with a different moment present on the same unit then the original moment of that date will be seen along with the reschedule status.


Owner Manager

What's New

  • Enhancement of Owner Group History Tracking

    We improved our system to log unlinking events in the Owner Group Overview. This streamlines owner-group management, reduces errors, and simplifies tracking and undoing of accidental removals.

What's Fixed

  • IBAN Validation Bug for Non-Address Countries

    We have fixed a bug that previously only allowed IBAN numbers from the user's registered address country, but now accepts IBANs from all countries.


Rate Manager

What's Improved

  • Revenue Manager - Collection Configuration Page

    We redesigned the collection page to improve user experience and efficiency. Improvement include a more intuitive and clean overview, and improved collection generator flow.

  • Revenue Manager - Rate Change Timeline

    We have refined the timeline to provide a more detailed overview of the batch updates.


Reservation Manager

What's Improved

  • New filter and export column in Search reservations

    From now on you will see a new filter in the Search reservations menu called Brand to help the user to find reservations that are created under a specific brand. Additionally a new column Brand has been added to the export column set to allow you to export these details.
