Customer Care

What's New

  • Set pre-configurable end dates for customer statuses

    A new feature is added for setting pre-configured end dates for customer statuses for all the update modes

    • Manual update mode: Set a pre-configured end date without additional configuration.
    • Automatic and external update modes: On creating a new customer status category enable the toggles 'Allow pausing of automatic updates' and 'Allow using custom date for resuming automatic updates' respectively. To configure this feature for an existing customer status category, enable these options from the edit menu using the same steps.

What's Improved

  • Due date is now mandatory on case creation

    It is now mandatory to assign a due date when creating a case, to support an upcoming new workflow for cases. This approach will be inline with the way the unified inbox works where the urgency of a case is determined based on the due date.

What's Improved

  • Link ledger at unit level

    Configuring ledger settings on units via the units menu in the advanced settings section is now possible. This enhancement replicates the existing behaviour from accommodation types and allows for the inheritance of ledger settings from accommodation types or overriding them at the unit level. If required the inherited settings can be reverted in the Content Manager, ensuring consistency with Newyse functionality.

  • Improvements for unlimited add-on stocks

    While configuring add-ons when the 'Fixed stock' option is enabled, it ensures that the add-on is created with a fixed stock count. When the toggle is disabled, a callout message, 'The add-on will be created as "Unlimited Stock" and that it is not possible to change the stock type after the creation of the add-on.' is displayed. For easy identification of unlimited stock add-ons, a badge is added on the add-on details page.

  • Enhancement for linking accommodation types with existing representations

    Improved the functionality to allow the user to select and link accommodation types with existing representations directly from representation set templates. This is particularly helpful when introducing a new representation that needs to be linked to existing accommodation types. This enhancement simplifies the process, saving time and effort when configuring specific representations from the templates.

  • Improved configuration for check-in/check-out for new accommodation types

    Enhanced the configuration process of check-in and check-out details when creating new accommodation types. Upon selecting a bookable accommodation kind, the guests are prompted to configure the check-in and check-out details. If the selected parent accommodation type already has these details filled in, a callout message is displayed, and the timings are inherited from the parent. Users have the option to override these inherited settings, but in this case, the fields are not mandatory. This improvement applies only to newly created accommodation types and does not impact existing ones.

  • Improved add-on cloning process

    Improved the add-on cloning process by automatically matching the destination location subjects. If they match the subjects from the destination location, they are automatically applied to the subject-based rates. In case of a partial match, cloning is allowed, but a warning message is displayed. If no subjects match then cloning is prevented by disabling the next button and an error-level callout message is displayed.

  • Enhanced dashboard with preloaded filters

    The dashboard is enhanced to preload the most frequently used filters when the dashboard page is accessed. This improvement reduces the number of clicks required and simplifies the process of applying filters, making the workflow more efficient.

  • Enhanced unit import flow in sector configuration

    Improved the unit import flow in sector configuration, designed to reduce potential human errors in Excel files. Importing files with varying upper or lower casing in column headers and different column sequences is now possible. This enhancement ensures that the import process is smoother and has minimum errors.


Rate Manager

What's Improved

  • Flexibility in managing stay dates from linked representations

    It is now possible to update the "Stay date from" of a linked representation in a rentability set to a later date, provided no reservations exist within the updated period. For example, if the original 'Stay date from' was 01/01 and needs to be updated to 10/01, the system checks for any reservations within this period. If no reservations are found, the update will proceed successfully.
