How to create a new reservation

  1. Sign in to Maxton Software Reservation Manager
  2. Open Dashboard 
  3. Click on New Reservation



How to Change Distribution Channel and Reservation Category

  1. Click on the DC/RC that is visible
  2. Change the DC and /or RC accordingly

How to search for an Accommodation Type 

  1. All accommodations will be shown
  2. Use the filter criteria in the search bar to search an available accommodation that matches the customer's preferences
    1. Location
    2. Arrival/Departure date
    3. Subjects 
    4. Etc.


How to select an Accommodation and Unit

  1. Select the accommodation type by clicking on the photo
  2. Select the Unit by clicking on Select Unit
  3. A popup window with a list of units appears
  4. Select a Unit from the list by clicking on Select Unit
  5. The selected unit is now added to the reservation
  6. Click on Get Rates to calculate the price
  7. Click on Book now





How to add Add-ons

  1. Mandatory add-ons are shown and already added to the reservation
  2. Select additional add-ons by using the list of Favorite Add-ons or by searching More Add-ons
  3. A popup will show up to determine the quantity and reservation period of the Add-on
  4. At this overview page, you can also select the (hidden) offers via Offer tab page, Preferences tab page and so on
  5. Click on Add Customer to continue completing the reservation


How to add Customer Details

  1. Fill in the customer details. The boxes outlined in red are mandatory
  2. Click on Save to save the customer details
  3. If you fill in details of an existing customer, details will be retrieved from the customer menu
  4. Select the Paying Customer tab if you want to fill in the details for a Paying Customer
  5. Once the Customer/Paying Customer details are saved, click on Show Overview to go the Reservation Overview


Reservation Overview

  1. The Reservation Overview shows all the information concerning the chosen options and entered information
  2. Customer and/or reservation memos can be created by clicking on Create Memo
  3. The expected arrival and departure time can also be updated
  4. To make the reservation Provisional, the status can be changed by clicking on Provisional (bottom right corner of the page)
  5. Reservation status will be updated accordingly


More Options

  1. Click on More options and explore options
  • History: to track all changes made on the reservation
  • Communication: an overview of all sent emails and other communication
  • Finance: more information concerning the bill, payment methods, reminders
  • Documents: here you can upload any documents as desired
  • External Links: e.g. link to MyEnvironment
  • Info Text: an overview of info texts that are applicable to the location/accommodation type 
  • Memos: an overview of  created memos that are applicable to the reservation or customer
  • Linked reservations: e.g. link reservations of families who booked separately but travel together
