There are multiple monitors that are checking the data for several reasons. When a certain threshold is reached, this monitor will send a Notification, which can be seen in the Notifications page.
Monitors
Monitors can be added through the collection page.
Through the insights page it is also possible to add/create a monitor for the collection and period that is selected
There are several monitors that can be used to monitor different trends. The monitors are separated by category.
Notify after days
After a specific amount of days.
Note: this monitor is only possible to observe
Static Monitors
Occupancy reached
When a specific amount of occupancy has been received.
Budget reached
When the turnover budget has been reached.
Occupancy reached or notify after days.
When the occupancy has been increased by a specific amount or after a specific amount of days.
This monitor can be created immediately after optimising rates. This will help users keep track of when you are selling too fast, resulting in "occupancy reached", and when you are selling too slowly, resulting in "Notification after days".
Note: This monitor is not able to evaluate ‘from today onwards’.
Locked percentage
When a specific amount of days had been locked.
Rolling Monitors
Occupancy received
When a specific amount of occupancy has been received in a specific amount of days.
Cancellations received
When a specific amount of occupancy has been cancelled in the last specific amount days
Predictive Monitors
Occupancy expectation
When a specific amount of occupancy has been expected.
Budget not reachable
When a specific percentage of the budget is reached before a specific amount of days.
Rate increase suggested
When more than a specific amount of rate change has been suggested.
Rate decrease suggested
When less than a specific amount of rate change has been suggested.
Comparing Monitors
Occupancy lagged
When occupancy is lagging by a specific amount compared to e.g. last year.
Occupancy ahead
When occupancy is ahead by a specific amount compared to e.g. last year.
Observation method
Total for a selected period
Monitoring the total for the selected stay date period, e.g. the Easter holidays. This monitor will trigger only when the total over the stay dates exceeds the threshold.)
Per stay date for a selected period
Monitoring the selected stay dates and will trigger per stay date if it exceeds the threshold. Consecutive stay dates will be grouped into one continuous period)
For all upcoming days
Monitoring all upcoming stay dates and will trigger per stay date if it exceeds the threshold. Consecutive stay dates will be grouped into one continuous period).
Remove monitor
Select a monitor or monitors, then click on the button ‘Remove’. The Remove button now changes to ‘Are you sure?’, clicking this button will remove the monitor(s).
Copy monitor
Select a monitor or monitors, then click on the button ‘Copy monitor’. Then select the collection(s) to copy the monitor(s) to.
Add monitor
Click on the button ‘Add monitor’, the first step is to select a monitor type. The second step is to select the period. The third step is to manually enter the percentage and rentable days, stay dates and importance.
