Offer with Add-ons [Package/Compositions with Accommodation]

When a number[many/group] of add-ons is offered together with Accommodation as a complete one package then we call them 'Offer with Add-on'[package/Compositions with Accommodation]. Using an 'Offer with Add-on', you can combine two or more add-ons together and offer them as one package where guests/customers will be able to book one package item to avail of all add-ons which are a part of the package.


Example:- Exceptional unpacking[Offer with Add-on](Package Name)

1→Local Tax

2→Reservation Charges

(Above Add-ons are included in our Offer with Add-on)

In this example, if guests book an Offer with add-ons (Exceptional unpacking) then local tax and Reservation charges are included in that Package.

they don't have to pay an extra amount for the tax and reservation charges because it comes under that package amount[rate/price].

A. Steps to create an Offer With add-on (package/Compositions with Accommodation)

1. First Click on Rate Manager

2. Go to 'Rate Manager' and click on "Offer" on the left menu side.

To create an Offer With Add-ons, click on "Create Offer" [Scenario and details]


3. There are Two Options You can see 

→General offer

→Offer With Add-ons

Click on Offer With Add-ons for Package.(package/Compositions with Accommodation)

4. Now you can see multiple Options on-screen some are mandatory[* Must fill that options] and some are not mandatory options.

  • choose the location for which you would like to create this add-on package.
  • Choose the Type of price (New Price/Parsentage price/Rate per Subject Price)
  • Choose Policy "Open" or "Hidden"
  • Choose the Resort under which you want to create this package. 
  • Add Offer Search code (at the time of searching our package/offer it helps us)
  • Choose the Parent under which you want to create this package.
  • Add the name and code of the add-on package. You can also add a description and short description which will be seen when guests book this package online.
  • Also, You can add Translations for the Different different Languages (Dutch, English, German, etc).

  • For the package, creation Click on Next Step

5. Select Distribution Channel (We can book our Offer With Add-ons/Package through this medium)

->Link individual channels

->Link distribution channel group


Click on 'Create Offer' to create your Offer With Add-on/ Package/Compositions with Accommodation.

B. Linking add-ons as package items

  • To link add-ons as package items, go to the 'Linked package items' section in your newly created add-on package. 
  • Click on "Link package items" where a new pop-up will enable you to choose one or multiple add-ons and link them as items of this package. 
  • You can filter the add-ons based on location and then search them based on the name or code of the add-on.

  • After selecting add-ons in step 1, you can specify conditions for the add-ons as follows
    • "Item applicable for specific subject" - If the add-on is only applicable for adults or kids then you can choose this option and choose the subjects. 
    • "Will the items be charged to guests?" - If any of the add-ons is charged to guests. Enabling this setting will display the rate of add-on on the guest bills. 
    • If you would like to enable the booking of the package item add-ons on specific days of stay like arrival or departure, then you can enable the setting "Do you want to customize booking of this item for specific days?"
  • Click on 'Finish' to link the add-ons as package items

C. Adding specific rates for Package items (Offer With add-ons)

  • You can define Individual rates (Resource base, per subject base, base price, etc) for the package items linked to the add-on package.
  • Let's take one Example for Package Rates, We have the package "Exceptional unpacking" which consists of package items: "Local Tax", "Reservation Charges", and "Deposit". When the guests book the "Exceptional unpacking" then they have to pay certain charges for the complete package. (For package and add-ons one amount)

   

  • Also, we have the option to Add Corresponding Rentability as respective to our Rates.
  • However, the linked package items can have a rate as well which can be marked as "included" (by "Will the items be charged to guests" marking as No).

 

  • You can add Per stay/length rates and min and max deviation also add with the selection of that options in Rates
  • In this example, let's assume, "Local Tax", "Reservation Charges", and "Deposit" are included as a part of the package. However, you still have the option to define internal rates for these package items for financial distribution on a ledger (only for internal financial purposes)
  • Enable the setting "Specific rate for the linked package items (add-on)". Click on "Create rate" to add rates for package items
  • Click on "Create" to create the rate

 

In these Two Types Of rates, you can configure a Fixed Rate and a Rate per Subject [Subject Base package/offer not working now ticket:- MXTS-21975 - Getting issue details... STATUS ]

  • This rate for the items marked as "Included", will not be reflected on the bill to guests for items "Local Tax", "Reservation Charges", and "Deposit"
  • However, if you would like to charge "Local Tax", "Reservation Charges", and "Deposit" to the guests, then you can also set up this rate for the package items and mark the setting "Will the items be charged to guests" as Yes. Then you can add the rate of, for example, 10,- per person for the packaged items "Local Tax", "Reservation Charges", and "Deposit"  which you linked and this will be charged to the guests on the bill.   • The Accommodation Prices of Type are in the internal bill and the Package with Accommodation Prices shows on the main bill with add-ons.

D. Adding Add-on package rate

  • You can create a rate for the complete add-on package (for the group of add-ons). For example, the Exceptional unpacking as stated above can have one rate linked to the complete package "Exceptional unpacking package", let's say 199, This rate can be configured at the add-on package main Rates section. 
  • Simply navigate to the 'Rates' section of the add-on package
  • Click on 'Create rate' to create a fixed rate or rate per subject.
  • This Type of Rates directly Length base or Subject base you can configure means for different resources or different stay the charges are different,
  • If you want Subject base prices like Adult=15 todaler=10 and child/baby=5 you can create addons prices.


E. Linking Accommodation Types (Additions)to your package (Offer With Add-ons)

  • To make the package bookable for Specific Accommodation Types, you have to "Linked Accommodation Types" section on the page of Package.


  • Click on the tab "Linked Accommodation Types" and then on "Link accommodation types" to link accommodation types for which this Offer with add-on/package is bookable.

 

  • Also, we can select specific Amenities.
  • Filter the accommodation types based on locations. You can search them based on the name or code, select your accommodation types and click on "Link accommodation types"

  • We made Mandatory Resource also our selected Accommodation Type which means only this Accommodation Type our Package is bookable.

F. Missing Things(configuration ) or Not

  1. In case there is some configuration missing, you will see a red notification as follows directly click on that you can be configured respectively.

2. When none of the options shown in the image below are marked as red, your add-on package is ready to Use for guests (bookable).


G. Advance Settings for Offer With add-on/Package

1. Allow moving to the main bill

Allow users to move this special from the internal bill to the main bill in reservations.

2. Only applicable to the complete duration of the stay

Applicable only if valid for complete stay period which is configured in Rentability.

3. Reservation Categories

Configure applicable reservation categories for this offer, if this offer is to be used only in reservations made by selected reservation categories in Package.

4. Contract Types

Configure applicable contracts for this offer/package, if this offer/package is to be applied only for units following a certain contract.

5. Configure roles

Setting to enable assigning specific roles for this offer to restrict booking of an offer/Package to the specified roles which are defined in Package.

6. Flexible offer

Enabling this setting will allow authorized users to set their own name and price for an offer/Package, during the booking flow overriding the actual name and prices set for this offer.

7. Customer status

Configure applicable customer statuses to this offer if this offer is to be applicable only to customers with selected statuses in a particular option.

8. Ledger Settings

  For the "Ledger Settings," we created ticket   [ MXTS-33494 ]

H. Searching/Viewing Offer With add-on/package/Compositions with Accommodation.

There are Options Offer, Search with Name, Code, or Name Path and you can get your result.
