Customer kiosk flows
The customer kiosk is a paid application build on the MXTS platform that makes it possible for "GUESTS" to check-in or check-out.
In future we can extend this module by showing opening hours, activities and other information related to the current resort.
At this moment the module has been build for Alpin rentals and during development some texts and other elements where build to purely meet their requirements.
Below you will find the currently developed options and how to setup the configuration to ensure it works as expected.
You can use this prototype to see the different steps and how it will work together.
Check in
- Find reservation
- Allows guests to find a reservation that arrives today, yesterday, or the day before.
- Guest are required to have a combination of reservation number + last name or last name + check-out date
- Update travel party details
- Makes it possible to update the details of all guest that are staying
- Update email properties
- Makes it possible for the guest to update their email address and set the communication method of reservation and/or customer to email.
- When the communication method has been set to the email we interpretatie it as if the guest allows us to send transactionally (related to reservation) and promotional (not related to reservation) emails.
- Accept terms and conditions
- When the guest did not accept the terms and conditions via booking engine or myenv we let the guest accept the terms and conditions during check-in.
- Accepting the terms and conditions stores the shown terms and conditions in the communication of the reservation and sets the date + status in the reservation.
- Pay open amount on the bill
- When the guest has an open amount on his bill (before staying at the location) we will show some small details about his bill and give the guest the option to pay via
- QR code (guest can process Ingenico payment via his/her phone)
- Integrated payment portal (guest can process payment via payment page on the kiosk)
- Reception (check-in process is stopped and guest is informed to continue with check-in at the reception)
- When the guest has an open amount on his bill (before staying at the location) we will show some small details about his bill and give the guest the option to pay via
- Verify information
- Guest is shown an overview of all the important information for their reservation and
- Authorize creditcard for a warrant
- When the reservation has an 'add-on' of type 'warrant' that has been implied to be 'included in the bill' the amount that has been configured will be shown as authorization amount.
- Authorization can be done using the same methods as 'Pay open amount on the bill'.
- Welcome message
- Once check-in has been done we show a message to the guest.
Check out
- Find reservation
- Same functionality as 'Find reservation' during check-in
- Pay open amount on the bill
- When the guest ordered additional services or products during its stay and decided to charge the amounts on their reservation those amount will be shown during check-out.
- The guest has the same options as pay open amount on the bill during check-in
- Goodby message
- Once check-out has been completed the guest is shown a message.
