Distribution Channels

Distribution Channels (hereafter: DC) are the sales channels who create a reservation in the system. DC's are usually divided into roughly two groups: Direct and Indirect. Direct DC's are a company's 'own' channels, like Call Center and Website. Indirect DC's are usually referred to as actual agents and tour operators who act on behalf of the company and have customers create a booking via them.
