Preference on amenity

It is possible to link a paid or unpaid preference to an amenity.
An example would be that you have an accommodation type that has 10 units and 3 units are wheelchair accessible. In that case, you would like to link the amenity "Wheelchair accessible" to those 3 units and link it to an unpaid preference add-on.

Essential configuration

• You would need add-on(s) of type Preference.

Examples:

Add-on Free preference with a rate of €0
Add-on Paid preference with a rate of €25

• You would need to have configured the amenities via Content Manager → Configuration → Amenities

Examples:

Wheelchair accessible
Rural location
Pet free
Etc.

How to link amenities on the Unit level?

• Navigate to Content Manager → Units –> Choose the applicable unit → Go to Amentiy card –> Click on Link amenities
  In case an amenity needs to be linked to multiple units, please consider the bulk update option via Content Manager → Batch updates → New batch update
• You will notice that the Preference column is showing that there is no preference linked yet. This is because it needs to be done on the Accommodation type level.

How to link Preference cost for the amenity you just have linked on the Unit level?

• Navigate to the Accommodation type of the Unit and click on Link preference cost
  The origin of the linked amenity shows it is linked on the Unit level as the Origin is "Child".
• A wizard will open, choose the amenity for which you want to link Preference cost and click on Next step
• Search and select the applicable Preference cost and click on Link preference cost
• Now you will see on both Accommodation type level and Unit level, that there is a preference fee linked to the amenity
