General info
Capacity defines the maximum number of people allowed in a unit. When a guest wants to book with more people then defined in the capacity, the system will not allow making the booking. The capacity can be defined per subject group (Subjects)
In Content Manager -> Accommodations, card capacity, the configuration can be managed. The capacity uses a sequence: the 'oldest' subject category is also valid for the categories lower in age.
For example, there are 3 subject categories:
- Senior ( no max age)
- Adult (max age 65)
- Child (max age 12)
Configuration of the capacity can be:
Senior 6
Children 2
This means that the unit can be occupied with 8 in total. The max of adults/senior is 6 + 2 children. It is not possible to accommodate 7 adults +1 child
In the capacity, also the maximum number of pets can be defined.
Per a certain arrival date, the subject can be changed. For example, when it is decided to not allow any pets anymore, an end arrival date can be used to block this.
Batch Update
The Capacity can be added by Batch update for multiple accommodations.
Inheritance
Capacity can be defined on accommodation type level. Default, this is inherited on unit level. On unit level, the configuration can be overridden.
