FAQ - Priority management

This depends on the lock reason for having the following checkbox enabled:

  • High-level overview for multiple accommodation types per period

    • On the dashboard in the Content Manager, the missing configurations can be checked:

  • Accommodation type level overview for specific units. Kindly note, for different parameters the indication to show missing configuration might slightly vary.

 

Depending on the percentage shown in the priority management overview per type priority management will automatically switch to planboard fitting.

Note: This is automatically reviewed by the system on a daily basis i.e. not in real-time.

 

After priority management switched to plan board fitting, the overview will look like this:

 

The priority is assigned to units as per the best fit on the planning chart in case plan board fitting is used. Units having a reservation in front and back will be prioritized first. Here is an example to demonstrate its function:

  • When the concern/client has the feature flag enabled “rentability.gaps.enabled“ then the planboard fitting priorities will consider that gap like below

Yes, when any reservation gets canceled/declined then turnover gets refreshed and sets back to the original amount before the reservation.

 

Yes, it is possible to configure different season sets for an accommodation type as long as season periods are not overlapping with each other.

 

Based on the preference units get filtered and then the unit list is shown as per the assigned priorities.

 

No, it is not possible to combine two priority management parameters together for one season. The only automatic combination which is possible at the moment is when using target amount configuration, when the occupancy reaches a higher %, the system automatically switches to plan board fitting to place the reservations optimally on the planning chart.

 

Simply adding the season periods within the linked season sets allows you to extend your priority management configuration to be extended for the new booking year.

  2. If the feature is enabled, then you or your colleagues can check the permission in Backoffice Manager. Enabling the following permission will allow you to view and manage Priority management

  • Kindly check if the accommodation type rates are configured for the period for which you are trying to set up the priority management configuration

  • Click on the “Calculate priorities“ option in the 3-dots menu to recalculate the priorities for the entire book year
